The Igdlo after-school club in Aasiaat is seeking an assistant for a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The club is for 1st-2nd grade students and operates from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and again in the evening. The applicant must be responsible, observant, and able to work calmly in stressful situations.
Qeqertalik Municipality, Aasiaat, the Igdlo Leisure Club is looking for an assistant who can start on June 15, 2026, or by agreement.
The leisure club Igdlo is a leisure club for 1st and 2nd grade students.
It is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during the day, and reopened for the youth.
7:00 PM–10:00 PM, Fridays and Saturdays 7:00 PM–11:00 PM.
The conditions in the Leisure Club Igdlo:
The position in the leisure club Igdlo is a full-time position with 40 hours per week.
The leisure club Igdlo is operated under the management of the TIMI TARNI Committee.
Requirement for the applicant:
You must be responsible, observant, and able to adapt.
You must be able to work calmly in stressful situations, have a smooth workflow, be easy to work with, and be stable.
You should be healthy physically and mentally, as well as open and fresh.
You must be able to work according to the goals and action plans of the Fritidsklub Igdlo.
Salary and housing conditions:
·Salary conditions are in accordance with applicable agreements.

Criminal record and child certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.
