Majoriaq in Qaqortoq is seeking a skilled and dedicated career guidance counselor to start on February 1, 2026, or by agreement.
The main responsibilities of the career guidance counselor will include:

Providing contact and guidance to young people in work training
-
Planning and following up on strategies for individual youth
-
Conducting interviews and assessments regarding education and skill development
Additionally, the role involves participating in tasks such as:
-
Providing educational guidance and service
-
Assisting students
-
Administrative work related to students and apprentices
-
Guidance on educational applications and advising on applications
-
Processing educational applications
-
Acting as a contact, guide, and administrator for internships
-
Collaborating with vocational schools and student/apprentice organizations
-
Administrative management of student housing
