The administration department of the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources consists of dedicated employees who work closely together both internally within the administration and across the various departments. Therefore, we are looking for a colleague who can join the department with professional competence, a desire to collaborate, and a good sense of humor.
Economic responsibilities include, among other things:

Cost analyses and control of business processes

Control of the daily operations in Pinngortitaleriffik

Budget and accounts

Ongoing invoice approval and bookkeeping

Different billings

Secretariat function (journal, archive, telephone, shared mailbox, booking administration)

Management of cash register

Ongoing development and maintenance of effective administrative procedures

Assist in the reporting of EU funds

Assist with contact between the institute's shipping office and our ships (MARAD)

Support leaders in recruitment processes, including quality assurance of job postings, screening of applicants, planning and participating in interviews.

Manage payroll information, vacation, sick leave, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and agreements.

Implement personnel policies and provide HR professional support in connection with daily operations.

Be a sparring partner for leaders and employees in personnel-related issues.

Assist with terminations, severance agreements, and senior arrangements, as well as actively participate in the associated discussions.

You have a relevant education as a business economist, HD, or similar.

Extensive experience in public administration, including finance and HR.

Systematic workflow, overview, sense of order, and sense of responsibility

Knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft Office, booking system Picasso, IRIS, ERP, etc.)

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
For an applicant with the right documentable skills, employment as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor can occur in accordance with the applicable agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment with the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
