Would you like to help make a difference for young girls who need safe adults around them?
At Angerlarsimaffik Pilutaq in Sisimiut, we are looking for skilled and unskilled employees who are passionate about relationship work and who want to create stability, presence, and good experiences in everyday life for our girls aged 11 to 17.
About us
Pilutaq is a nationwide residential institution under the Department of Social Affairs, Family and Justice.
Our girls come from all over Greenland and have experienced various forms of neglect. Therefore, they need adults who can provide both structure, care, and warmth – and who dare to stand firm, even when it is difficult.
Our pedagogical approach is cognitive, resource-oriented, and appreciative, and we work in an environment where both professionalism and humanity are at the center.
We emphasize that the girls have a daily life that resembles a home – with schooling, leisure interests, and a social life in the city.
On weekends and holidays, we go on cabin trips, hunting and skiing trips, or colonies in the villages, where community and nature play an important role in working with the girls.
