In the Agency for Economy and Personnel (ASA), we work with the handling of personnel matters for the entire Greenland Self-Government, the underlying units, and the healthcare system. In addition, we advise and guide leaders on agreements, legislation, and contracts. We prepare employment contracts and correspondence for employees. We are now looking for 1-2 personnel consultants with a preliminary placement in the team that works with the Greenlandic healthcare system.
In Personnel & Law, there are 10 personnel consultants, two personnel lawyers, and two office managers.
We are divided into 3 teams, the Nanoq team, the Peqqik team, and the lawyers. The unit is organizationally placed in the Agency for Economy and Personnel under the Ministry of Finance and Taxes.
Your primary work tasks
We are looking for 1-2 personnel consultants who will work broadly within the department's task management. The department is currently undergoing a development where we are trying to create greater dynamics between the consultants working in the health sector and those working in the other central administrative area. Therefore, the positions offer the opportunity to also make an impact and contribute to the development of workflows in the team.
Your primary tasks will be:

Personnel case processing in relation to employment, including particularly the preparation of employment contracts and various correspondence.

Entering salary, allowances, and terminations

Case processing of anniversaries, maternity leave letters, etc.

Processing of civil servant pension
-
Advising and interpreting within civil servant legislation and other regulations in the field of employment law.

Interpretation of agreements
If you have an interest in and an eye for streamlining workflows, processes, etc., this will particularly be an advantage.
We are looking for a colleague who:

Has a relevant education as a bachelor's degree, professional bachelor's degree, or is office trained.

Having experience from similar positions is an advantage, but you can also be a recent graduate.

Is good at collaborating, sparring, and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.

Not afraid to take on a challenge and see it through to the end.

Has good oral and written communication skills at a high level

Preferably has good numerical understanding and understanding of legal/economic risks.

Is diplomatic, service-minded, and friendly by nature.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
