Consultants for Implementation of Shift Scheduling in the Greenlandic Healthcare System

The Greenlandic Health Service is in the process of implementing the shift planning system PDC and is seeking experienced consultants with strong digital, relational, and communication skills.

You will have the opportunity to help professionalize and standardize a central function in a healthcare system of great societal importance. At the same time, you will become part of a new central team that will ensure consistent shift planning across all of Greenland. In close collaboration with the project team, you will be responsible for the implementation, development, and support of shift planning across the organization.

There are 2 permanent positions available.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Implementation of the duty scheduling system, including configuration and maintenance of the individual departments' duty schedules.
• Ensure better use of data, so leaders and local scheduling planners can more easily make decisions about how resources are best utilized.
• Develop teaching materials and conduct instruction
• Advise and support managers and leaders in all shift planning-related matters.
• Develop and implement rules for shift scheduling, policies, and decision proposals for the management, ensuring compliance with agreements and contracts.

Housing

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The position can be filled with a workplace in either Nuuk or at the Greenland Representation in Copenhagen.

Candidates with relevant experience and special skills may be offered employment as a special consultant.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
