Air Greenland is undergoing rapid development and is facing an exciting future with airport expansions and increased tourism. To achieve this goal, we are now looking for a dedicated communications consultant with a creative approach to both internal and external communication. Start date desired is April 1, or by mutual agreement.

Your area of responsibility

In the Communications Department at our headquarters in Nuuk, you will be part of a competent and dedicated team consisting of a Sustainability Consultant, a Communications Manager, and our Director of Sustainability and Communication (Chief Sustainability Officer).

The department is currently working on updating our communication strategy with clearly defined goals, a process in which you will have the opportunity to contribute and influence. Together with the team, you will help communicate our strategic initiatives in line with the current and upcoming communication strategy.

You will be responsible for communication about our sustainability initiatives and have an editorial role in the preparation of our annual report and sustainability report. In addition, you will work on content production and optimization for our social media as well as for our website.

Your tasks vary widely, from producing text, video, and audio for our different channels to preparing press releases and communication plans. You work closely with the Communications Manager and other colleagues to ensure clear and effective communication, both internally and externally.

Your skills

We imagine that you have a relevant education and experience in strategic communication, as well as a solid knowledge of various digital communication channels. You are passionate about your professional expertise, but you are also a team player who seeks the best solutions through collaboration. With your good project management skills and structured approach to tasks, you are able to see things from multiple perspectives.

We expect you to meet the following criteria:

Education in business communication, journalism, or another relevant background

Experience from similar positions

High skill level in written communication - in both Greenlandic, Danish, and English.

In-depth knowledge of Greenlandic society

A quick-learning and curious approach to digital communication channels
