The Greenlandic Healthcare System is seeking an analysis consultant for the development of a new management information system. The system will provide leaders and clinical areas with a reliable basis for planning activity and capacity, prioritizing resources, and monitoring the development of operations.

You will play a central role in ensuring the quality of the data on which the system is built. Together with the clinical areas, you will investigate how data is recorded, what explains deviations, and what the numbers can be used for. You will help define key figures, analyze the healthcare system's activity, and develop reports in Power BI in collaboration with users and your technical colleague. The most important thing is that you can see opportunities in data and translate them into value for the organization.

About the Department

You will be part of the budget team in the Finance Department, where you will have a chief consultant and two budget consultants as colleagues. The Finance Department supports the management and the healthcare system's departments with budgeting, financial management, analysis, and management information. In this position, you will have a broad contact surface with clinical and administrative staff throughout Greenland.

Your tasks will include:

• Quality assuring and validating data and collaborating with the clinical areas to improve registration practices
• Defining key figures and developing reports and dashboards in Power BI for management and the executive team
• Analyzing data on activity, capacity, quality, and finance to illuminate the development of operations and point out improvement opportunities
• Translating analyses into decision-making bases for planning, prioritization, and resource utilization

We envision that you:

• Have a relevant education in, for example, data analysis, statistics, economics, social sciences, public health science, or health informatics
• Have practical experience with processing, quality assuring, and analyzing data
• Can communicate analyses and results clearly to people with different professional backgrounds at all levels of the organization
• Experience with report development in Power BI or a similar BI tool, experience with data extraction in SQL, and strong Excel skills are each considered an advantage

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Healthcare System at any given time.

Salary and Employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, there may be an opportunity for employment as a special consultant or chief consultant.

The position is located in Nuuk, Greenland.
