Event Technician with experience in lighting technology and more

Do you have control over the lighting mixer - are you passionate about live production with quality and professionalism? NUIF is looking for a dedicated and flexible Event Technician with solid experience from live productions for a permanent position in our technical department.

About the position:

As an Event Technician with us, you will be part of the development of a future strong technical team with 2 Event Technician trainees, who together are responsible for executing many different events - ranging from workshops and lectures to all kinds of music genres, competitions, theater, and everything in between.

You will have a varied everyday life with both preparation, setup, and execution of events - primarily focusing on lighting, but also with the opportunity to contribute and further develop across technical tasks when required.

We are looking for you who:

·Have practical experience with live lighting and lighting setup

·Are used to working with different types of productions and genres

·Have technical overview and the ability to solve challenges quickly and professionally

·Are flexible, collaborative, and ready for a work week with varying working hours

·Have knowledge of several lighting consoles and some sound technology

·Are willing to take on interns

∙Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
