A trained social helper or similar is sought for Nuka

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and committed educator for the Nuka Daycare Center. For employment by agreement

There is space for 40 children in the Nuka Daycare Center. There are 20 children in each room

For children between 3-6 years old.

Opening hours at the Nuka Daycare Center: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Staff distribution per room: A trained educator or similar, social helper, and an assistant.

A kitchen assistant, cleaning assistant, and a manager.

Job content:

A trained educator or similar must participate in the kindergarten and in the room, and must work in the areas mentioned below:

·Someone who can take full responsibility when the manager, deputy manager, or educator is absent.

·Role model for other colleagues

·Who can collaborate closely with the consumers

·Can work according to
 Inatsisartut Law No. 62, of November 20, 2023.

The tasks are developed together with other employees and the parents.

Characteristics of the Nuka Daycare Center:

Health, going on outdoor trips every day, healthy food, exercise, Kammagiitta.

Have a special focus on preschool children, and have joint activities with the children, employees, and parents every month.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
