Blacksmith

Typical tasks:

• Repair and maintenance of the company's machines, production equipment, buildings and technical installations (including the company's housing stock).
• Repair and maintenance of the fishermen's machines, equipment, buildings and technical installations.
• Welding and metalworking (including MIG/MAG, TIG and electrode welding) in steel, aluminum and other metals.
• Manufacturing of steel constructions, stairs, railings, pipe installations and special items according to drawings.
• Troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ad-hoc tasks in close collaboration with other professional groups in technical departments or workshops.
• All outstanding work related to the company's receiving stations.
• Cleaning of the technical staff's workshop and work area.

Qualifications and requirements

• Education: Skilled blacksmith or relevant vocational education in iron and metal.
• Experience: Practical experience with versatile blacksmith work, preferably from industry, construction, shipyard.
• Welding proficiency: Golden welding certificates are often a requirement or a great advantage.
• Driver's license: A regular driver's license (B) is usually a prerequisite.
• Personal competencies: Independent, adaptable, solution-oriented and good at collaborating in a small team.
