Halibut Greenland ApS

At Halibut Greenland ApS, we work with something that matters – to get Greenland's raw materials safely and responsibly all the way from the sea to customers in the international market. Our everyday life is based on the fishing around Ilulissat, where we process and produce quality products, especially Greenlandic halibut and Atlantic cod.

The company is largely owned by local fishermen, and this is felt in the culture. We have a close relationship with those who deliver the catches, and we emphasize integrity, fair terms, and a service-minded approach in the collaboration – both internally and towards our suppliers and customers.

In production, we focus on quality and traceability, so we can stand behind what we send out into the world. This requires strong coordination between operations, technology, and administration, and therefore the office and finance functions are an important part of everyday life – from planning and documentation to financial management and support for the factory.

As a workplace, we are a place where people help each other, and where the community plays a big role. We are proud of what we do, and we also take our social responsibility in the local community seriously – because we are part of it ourselves.
