The Health Service in Nuuk is looking for a health visitor for a permanent position starting December 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Queen Ingrid's Health Center in Nuuk provides the primary health service for the city, including the district's two villages, Kapisillit and Qeqertarsuatsiaat, with a total population of approximately 20,000.
The Health Service practices a combined scheme, where a health-promoting effort is made towards children and young people in the municipality and its 2 villages and Ittoqortoormiit. The primary effort takes place in homes, in parent groups, and in schools. The Health Service offers parent preparation education, MANU, to all pregnant women and new parents.
There are 7 health visitors, including the chief health visitor and 1 secretary in the Health Service.

- You are a qualified health visitor

- You may have other higher education and competency-giving qualifications that are special and useful in the work as a health visitor, where there is a possibility for supplements according to the agreement.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
