Nukissiorfiit is looking for a dedicated electrician for our team in Nanortalik, where you will play a central role in the daily operation, maintenance, and development of the electrical distribution network.

Nukissiorfiit, district Kujalleq, is looking for an Electrician for the operation and maintenance of the Electrical distribution network in Nanortalik. The electrician must, together with other employees, contribute to the operation, optimization, and development of the Electrical distribution network and actively create good collaboration internally in the team in Nanortalik and across the district and the company. The electrician's immediate supervisor is the Operations Responsible Team Leader in Nanortalik. The electrician must reside in Nanortalik.

Work and responsibilities

The electrician contributes to ensuring that internal procedures are continuously developed and followed, as well as that applicable legislation is complied with in all areas.

The electrician must handle:

• Maintenance of the Electrical distribution network and transformer stations.
• Maintenance of electrical installations at the power and water plant.
• Maintenance of the city's street lighting.
• Various electrical-related ad-hoc tasks.
• Reading, closing/reopening of meters.
• Registration as well as installation and removal of meters.
• Reporting of operational data for the line department.
• Registration of asset data and documentation in Arcgis for the line department.

Employment conditions

Salary is in accordance with the agreement between Naalakkersuisut (Greenland Self-Government) and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be with a 3-month probation period.

Housing may be provided for the position.

Free travel for relocation and moving expenses will be provided upon employment, and after 3 years of continuous employment, return travel for the entire household including children under 18 years will be paid.
