Construction or structural engineer for Rambøll Greenland A/S

Due to an increasing influx of tasks, Ramboll Greenland A/S is seeking a civil or construction engineer with experience and interest in construction, geotechnics, and marine buildings.

Job Description

You will be part of our construction department, where you will particularly be associated with our many port tasks. Here, you will be involved in all phases from registration through design to execution. The tasks vary widely, from renovation and new construction to consulting in strategic planning, so you should thrive with very different and diverse tasks.

Your work tasks will be varied, where you will acquire a high degree of local knowledge in the individual towns and settlements, and you will have ample opportunity to explore the latest knowledge and technology in "Arctic Engineering." Many tasks are solved in interdisciplinary project teams, where you are responsible for your own area of expertise. You can expect travel activities in connection with port projects along the Greenlandic coast.

Your Profile

It is not crucial whether you have 1-5 years of experience or 15 years+, as we have the opportunity to tailor the content and responsibilities of the position based on your specific background in collaboration with colleagues in construction and ports at Ramboll Greenland as well as in the marine construction department at Ramboll Denmark.

As we consist of a mixed employee composition with many engaged and specialized engineers, it is important that you thrive in a diverse environment and possess a certain openness. Furthermore, we expect you to:

• be outgoing, engaged, flexible, and solution-oriented

• have experience with the calculation of spun constructions and geotechnics

• have experience with calculations of steel and concrete constructions otherwise

• have experience with the preparation of work descriptions

• have experience with Revit or MicroStation

• possibly have experience with construction project management

• possibly have experience with construction management

• possibly have experience with project management

• possibly have knowledge of Plaxis or similar geotechnical calculation programs.

Likewise, experience with projects in Greenland/Arctic will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
