We are looking for a childcare provider in Narsarsuaq, is it you who is interested in the position?

In Municipality Kujalleq, we emphasize in our close work with children that children develop through creativity and innovation, and therefore we are looking for someone who has experience with creative work with children.

Job and responsibilities:

You will be jointly responsible for fulfilling the Inatsisartut law on pedagogical developmental offers for children in preschool age no. 62 of November 20, 2023.

• Childcare
• Have a close collaboration with the child's guardians and work based on the child's current situation.
• Plan daily activities for the children
• Ensure children's portfolios, MIIM 3 and, MIIM 5.

Expectations of you:

• Pedagogical education or similar is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• That you are proactive and can take responsibility.
• That you are willing to engage in pedagogical discussions about our work.
• That you can set boundaries with children.

We offer

• Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel expenses in connection with commencement and relocation, in accordance with the applicable agreements and collective agreements between Naalakkersuisut and your negotiating organization.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received a child certificate from the National Police, as well as a criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat (NPK) or another relevant negotiating organization.

Start date: To be agreed with the applicant

The employment will be with a 3-month probation period

Housing:

There will be staff housing available for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in Greenland's Self-Government and the municipality's properties etc. in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacant housing, for which rent, utilities etc. are paid according to the above.

Relocation travel and moving expenses are provided in accordance with applicable rules.
