The nursing home has space for 48 residents, divided over 3 departments. The Orpimiutaq department has space for 18 residents. Residents assigned are self-sufficient and residents who require full care.
Responsibilities and Areas of Work
- Be responsible for payroll reporting, schedules are made.
- Basic care and direct assistance
- Be involved in innovation and development
- Contribute to activities for residents
- Be involved in training assistants and interns
- Work to ensure that residents feel safe and have a meaningful life.
- Welcoming to all
- Ensure quality of care.
- Co-responsible for professionalism being in play in all situations
- Proactive for development and maintenance of professionalism
- The position includes on-call duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educated as a health assistant or similar.
- Has management experience
- Initiative and ability to involve colleagues.
- Bilingual, Greenlandic and Danish (not a requirement)
- Clean criminal record
- Willingness to serve elderly citizens
- To take on on-call duties during periods
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing can be provided for external applicants, for which a deposit/rent is paid according to applicable rules. A relocation allowance and moving expenses are provided according to applicable rules.
