As a business consultant, you will have a versatile position with both administrative, coordinating, and development-oriented tasks. You will be an important link between the municipality, the local business community, citizens, the Self-Government, and other partners.

Outside the most intensive periods of fishing and hunting, you will work with business development, projects, and grant applications that can contribute to the development of the municipality's towns and settlements.

You will also be responsible for a number of specific municipal business areas and engage in close cooperation with the secretariat, the municipality's other professional areas, and external partners.

Your primary tasks

  • Handling tasks related to the municipality's board, including administration and operation
  • Managing the administration of the round arch hall, including oversight of tenants, agreements, and maintenance
  • Identifying relevant development opportunities and preparing grant applications for projects that can benefit the municipality's towns and settlements
  • Processing applications for taxi licenses and working with relevant regulations and information meetings with taxi drivers
  • Collaborating with Innovation South Greenland and other relevant business actors
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of business-related projects
  • Solving other tasks within the municipality's business area.

The tasks may evolve in line with the needs of the municipality and the business community.

We envision that you

  • Have a relevant education and/or work experience that enables you to handle the tasks of the position
  • Have good administrative skills and work systematically with case processing and documentation
  • Can work independently and take responsibility for your areas of work
  • Have good collaboration and communication skills and thrive with contact to many different people
  • Are service-minded, solution-oriented, and good at following tasks through to completion
  • Have an interest in business development and the specific business conditions in the Municipality of Kujalleq
  • Preferably have experience with fishing and hunting, public administration, project work, or grant applications
  • Can communicate in Greenlandic and Danish. Knowledge of English is an advantage.

We offer

You will have a position with great variation and the opportunity to shape your work area. You will be close to the local business community and have the chance to work on tasks where the results can be directly felt by companies, citizens, and local communities.
