We are looking for an intern, a Nutrition Assistant or Nutrition Aide for the integrated daycare Puiaq

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a trained Nutrition Assistant or Nutrition Aide, who is curious and serious for Daycare Puiaq for immediate employment.

 As an intern in the Municipality of Sermersooq, you will:

·Be part of a large workplace in the midst of exciting development

·Receive extended education about children's nutrition

·Have a varied workday, where you have influence over your tasks

·Meet and serve many different people

·Gain broad knowledge about societal conditions

·Always have a contact person

The Municipality of Sermersooq has internship positions in the cities of Nuuk, Paamiut and Tasiilaq.

Regarding the daycare:

Puiaq is an integrated daycare, Puiaq is located in the city and not far from the beach, and is situated between large buildings, with access to nature, where children have the opportunity to move, the daycare was opened in 2005. 

It is licensed for 64 children

The building is an apartment building, divided into four rooms. Two rooms in the kindergarten with 24 children, two rooms in the nursery with 20 children. And 15 employees.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
