The Digitalization Agency is seeking a project manager to lead and coordinate IT projects in Nuuk. The position requires good collaboration skills, structure, and the ability to navigate complex tasks. We offer a developing workplace with a focus on both professional and personal growth.
Are you the type who can both keep track of projects and maintain a high spirit – even when the plan changes? Can you navigate the IT world without losing overview, and do you perhaps want to do it all in lovely Nuuk, where the sky actually has stars?
Then you are the one we are looking for!
Who are we?
The Agency for Digitalization sets the direction for a secure digital future for Greenlandic society and leads the development of secure, standardized digital solutions. At the Agency for Digitalization, we work both with the digitalization of Greenland and IT operations of the Government of Greenland.
This means that we carry out projects on everything from self-service solutions for citizens to changes in our IT infrastructure, so the tasks will be varied.
We are about 30 colleagues in the agency who not only collaborate but also help each other across disciplines.
We are looking for you who…
- Are positively inclined
- Are good at collaborating – both with people you know and those you have not yet met
- Have determination – even when the to-do list grows
- Perhaps have experience with project management – preferably within IT, but we are open
- Are eager to learn new things and meet new people
If you do not know Greenland
- People are generally welcoming and helpful
- We help each other so that everyone succeeds – even at work
Your tasks will include…
- Project management across the entire Naalakkersuisut
- You will be responsible for leading and coordinating both national and internal IT projects.
- Analysis, planning, and coordination of project tasks
- System and process optimization
- Collaboration with colleagues and external consultants
- And yes – documentation
We imagine that you…
- Think structure and documentation are more friend than foe
- Can work in teams with different disciplines without losing overview
- Can convey complex material in a way that does not require a dictionary
- Are loyal to colleagues and our strategic goals
- Are willing to speak and write Greenlandic, Danish, and English
If you do not have experience with project methods like Prince2 or ITIL, do not despair – we are happy to invest in building your skills if you have the motivation.
We offer…
- A workplace where development – both professional and personal – is a natural part of everyday life
- Colleagues who take both work and community seriously
