About the position

The new Powered by Brugseni store will have a store area of over 200 m2, on the first floor of Brugseni Ilulissat. As store manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of our electronics store and will have the responsibility and opportunity to build a completely new team for our upcoming new electronics store in Brugseni Ilulissat. You will be responsible for both staff, sales, customer service, and the overall performance of the store, and you will start by making the new store attractive and ready for the city's customers together with your new team.

About Ilulissat

The tourist town of Ilulissat is Greenland's third-largest city with a population of just over 5,000 and is located about 2 km north of the mouth of Ilulissat Icefjord and has a unique nature with large icebergs and great opportunities for hiking, dog sledding, and snowmobiling in the country, as well as sailing and hunting throughout Disko Bay. There are many opportunities for families as well as good educational facilities for school-aged children. There is an active urban environment with good shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, an icefjord center, and a cinema in the cultural house.

Your primary responsibilities

• • Daily management and motivation of the store's employees
  • Planning of schedules and staffing
  • Sales management and monitoring of budgets and key figures
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction and professional advice
  • Responsibility for ordering goods, inventory management, and merchandising
  • Training and development of employees
  • Ensuring that the store always appears presentable and inviting

We expect that you

• • Have experience as a store manager or assistant manager – preferably from retail or the electronics industry
  • Are a visible leader who leads by example and creates engagement
  • Have strong sales understanding and can work purposefully with results
  • Are structured, responsible, and good at maintaining an overview
  • Thrive in a busy everyday life and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Have an interest in electronics and technical products
