KRK-INUA is looking for a project coordinator who is passionate about creating positive changes for young people. The position involves project coordination, communication, and collaboration with young people and volunteers. There is a focus on mental health and the well-being of young people, with the possibility of travel activities in Greenland.

About KRK-INUA

KRK-INUA is the youth department of Kalaallit Røde Korsiats. We work for and with young people to create strong communities, well-being, and better opportunities for young people in Greenland.

We work, among other things, with free mental first aid for young people aged 18 to 35 as well as initiatives like Life Skills and SPRINT.

We are looking for a project coordinator who can drive our ongoing initiatives and simultaneously contribute to the development of KRK-INUA's future work.

About the position

As a project coordinator, you will have a versatile role with responsibility for project coordination, communication, youth involvement, and implementation of activities.

You will, among other things, be expected to:

  • coordinate and follow up on projects and activities

  • drive the project on mental first aid for young people

  • plan and implement events, courses, and workshops

  • collaborate with young people, volunteers, colleagues, and external partners

  • work with communication, social media, branding, and marketing

  • contribute to the development of new projects and activities

  • prepare budgets and follow up on finances

  • contribute to applications, documentation, and reporting

Travel activity is to be expected in connection with the position.

We are looking for you who

  • are passionate about working with young people and have an understanding of their perspectives

  • are interested in mental health and the well-being of young people

  • have an understanding of or experience with NGO or civil society work, and have adaptability

  • are strong in communication and can create engaging content

  • have experience with social media and preferably branding and marketing

  • are good at building relationships and collaborating with different people

  • have financial oversight and preferably experience with budgeting and financial follow-up.

It is an advantage if you have experience with young people, volunteers, or civil society organizations.

You do not need to have all the above skills; we share the tasks in the team.

We emphasize engagement, curiosity, and the desire to learn.

We hope that you have the ability to combine structure and overview with creativity and good relational skills.
