Merchant for Tasiusaq

KNI A/S is looking for a skilled, ambitious, and energetic merchant for the goods division in Tasiusaq, in the Municipality of Kujalleq, starting on October 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

We emphasize the highest customer service and expect you to contribute to this and have a desire to contribute to our continued success. You will have great freedom in your daily work, and it is therefore important that you are responsible and able to prioritize and plan your time.

We expect you to be competitive-minded and able to, in collaboration with the staff, develop and think innovatively to ensure that customers have the best possible shopping experience.

The merchant reports to the regional manager.

As a merchant in Tasiusaq, you will be responsible for:

·       Correct product orders

·       Ensuring that the service contract is adhered to

·       Employees who require a merchant with leadership qualities and commitment

·       Development and execution of activity plans

·       Responsible for store and personnel administrative tasks

As a merchant, your primary tasks will be:

·       To develop a results-oriented business operation for Pilersuisoq Tasiusaq

·       To ensure a continuous supply of goods so that the store is always sales-ready

·       To develop and motivate employees to perform at their best

·       To maintain a good and cooperative contact with customers and partners

·       A sales-ready and well-maintained store every day
