The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and dedicated flyer for daycare Uiloq.

Daycare Uiloq is located in Nuussuaq. There is room for 35 children.

There are three rooms, where two rooms have space for 12 children and the last room has space for 11 children. Each room has three staff members, which are: educator, social worker, and an assistant.

Uiloq is open on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.

There are a total of 12 staff members, which are: Leader, deputy leader, educators, social workers, and assistants, one flyer, and one nutrition assistant.

Job Description:

As a flyer, you will not be assigned to one room, but you will work throughout the entire facility at Daycare Uiloq.

·Childcare: You will take care of the children and should be able to work in a room as needed

·Cleaning: Light cleaning tasks, laundry, and folding laundry

·Kitchen: Should be able to assist in the kitchen as needed

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
