Nuussuup Atuarfia is a tiered school with 385 students in grades 1-10 and with a dynamic, engaged, and stable teaching staff of 42 educators. The school has students in 18 regular classes and 5 special classes, where the students perform very well academically.

Teacher's hours:

The teacher will teach the subjects of religion, philosophy, history, home economics, local elections, physical education, natural sciences, and social studies

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
