Kangersuatsiaq School in Kangersuatsiaq near Upernavik is looking for a qualified teacher. Kangersuatsiaq School has students from 1st to 9th grade, the students are taught in groups, not as grade-divided classes. We are looking for someone who can teach various subjects.

If you want to work with students and are committed and want to be part of development, you are welcome to apply for the position.

Employment will start on October 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Salary and employment conditions.

Employment will be according to the agreement between Naalakkersuisut and IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil servant position will retain the right to this form of employment.

No housing will be provided.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, will be in accordance with the agreements in effect at the time of commencement between the Greenlandic Government and IMAK.

Employment may also occur under special fixed-term conditions according to the agreement of February 16, 2007, on employment under special fixed-term conditions.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory public criminal record and child certificate, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the consent of the applicant who is recommended for employment.
