Atuarfik Hans Lynge is located at the end of Nuuk city, in Qinngorput. The school is situated in a beautiful natural area with mountains, waterfalls, and lakes. Atuarfik Hans Lynge is a modern school that was opened at the start of the school year in 2011. The school includes all classrooms as well as modern furnishings and IT equipment, such as iPads and Apple TV.
The school has grades 1-10, which are run in 2 and 3 streams. Currently, there are 497 students and 45 teachers.
There is a well-functioning staff, a positive and dialogue-based school & home collaboration, clear and visible leadership with good parental collaboration relations in everyday life.

Criminal and Child Certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received a child certificate from the National Police as well as a criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
