Then you are the one we are looking for.

We are looking for teachers – as of October 1, 2026 - who wish to:

·Engage in a committed collaboration to enhance students' competencies: in various subjects.

·If the applicant also has special competencies in IT, as well as the use of iPads in teaching, these competencies will also be useful.

·We are looking for teachers who can teach mathematics, natural geography, physics/chemistry, and Danish.

·If the applicant, in addition to their teaching degree, also has competencies/other education in the social field, they will also be very relevant to us.

We can locally offer:

•Good school facilities / well-maintained school (since 2009).              

•Good facilities, where iPads are increasingly integrated into everyday life.

•Village with many school students: Most grades have their own class. 1-10 grade.           

•Good opportunities for collegial collaboration / space to think and try new paths.

•The school has housing, you do not need to live in a vacant position.

•Waste collection is paid by the municipality, while you pay for day waste collection.

•Water is supplied from the school.

•Rent is approximately 1500 kr.

•Good opportunities for outdoor life/hunting-fishing. The school has a log cabin, which can be reached by a walk of about 3-4 hours, it is used for camp school.

•Training opportunities in the school's multi-purpose hall and many leisure activities for children, youth, and adults.

Kullorsuaq is well located in scenic surroundings with the National Park as a neighbor.

Kullorsuup Atuarfissua has approximately 90 students and about 15 teachers in the upcoming school year, and since 2009 we (except for two years) have held the final exams of the folk school.

Salary and employment conditions

The employment is in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Greenland and IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil servant position in Greenland will retain the right to this form of employment. Housing will be provided, for which payment is made according to the applicable rules at any time. Employment on special fixed-term conditions can be offered - by agreement.

This includes, among other things: An annual vacation travel allowance for the household and a severance payment of approximately 19,000 kr. per year of employment.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving household goods, are in accordance with the agreements in force at the time of commencement

between the Government of Greenland and Ilinniartitsisut Meeqqat Atuarfiannersut Kattuffiat, IMAK.

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate as well as a public criminal record.
