The nursing home in Narsaq is looking for 2 healthcare assistants
The nursing home Luuvikasik is looking for 2 healthcare assistants for employment from September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
The nursing home has space for 30 residents, including a dementia and care department. Your colleagues will be healthcare assistants, health helpers, social and health helpers, nutrition assistants, nutrition helpers, and unskilled workers.
We are looking for 2 healthcare assistants who can/have the ability to:
- Basic health nursing and medication dosing
- Participate in enhancing documentation regarding care
- Be involved in innovation and development
- Contribute to health-promoting activities for residents
- Be involved in the training of helpers and interns
- Work to ensure that residents feel safe and have a meaningful life
- Ensure quality in care
- Be co-responsible for professionalism in all situations
- Be proactive in the development and maintenance of professionalism
- The positions include on-call functions
Qualifications and requirements
- Trained as a healthcare assistant
- Initiative and ability to involve colleagues
- Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish (not a requirement)
- Clean criminal record
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organizations.
Housing can be provided, for which payment is made according to applicable rules, and moving costs are covered according to applicable rules.
