Majoriaq in Ilulissat is seeking a full-time employee for employment starting on September 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
Job and Responsibilities:
• Registration of unemployed individuals,
• Administration of job search services
• Development of action plans for the unemployed.
• Guide the citizens in the city and surrounding areas who come seeking help.
• Guidance for the unemployed and course applicants.
• Employment-promoting measures, e.g., activation of the unemployed.
• General tasks at Majoriaq
• Help work for the citizens in the city and surrounding areas who want to advance in their education and careers.
• Develop the position in collaboration with others at Majoriaq.
• Advising on developing and finding solutions regarding workflows.
There is a desire for a person with a relevant educational background, or one who has administrative experience, who can immediately start working to guide the citizens in the city and the city's 4 settlements to advance in education or careers, as well as take on office tasks.
We expect that you will actively participate in the work and can solve the various tasks that arise, as Majoriaq has several different tasks.
Qualifications:
• A relevant education in the field. Has administrative experience.
• Has a desire to work with youth and adults.
• Is diligent and has no problems with alcohol and other substances.
• Is bilingual, Greenlandic and Danish, but this is not a requirement.
You should expect the possibility of further education and courses that will be required to work at Majoriaq.
Salary and Employment Conditions:
• Employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for similar responsibilities under the S.I.K agreement.
• There is no housing for the position.
