We are looking for:
Kommune Kujalleq is looking for 2 employees for a combined position within operations and emergency response in Narsarsuaq. This is one overall position type with two appointments. The position includes daily municipal operations, practical service and maintenance tasks, as well as participation in the local emergency response. Since a truck is part of the task solution, a truck driver's license is a requirement.
Start as soon as possible or by further agreement.

Job tasks
- Manage daily municipal operations, cleaning, tidying up, and minor maintenance tasks in Narsarsuaq.
- Participate in fire and rescue efforts, exercises, and other emergency response tasks.
- Operate and drive a truck as well as other relevant equipment, machines, vehicles, and emergency response gear.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of roads, stairs, paths, squares, ditches, sewers, road drainage, municipal areas, stations, and equipment.
- Participate in waste management, waste handling, internal logistics, snow removal, slippery surface combat, supervision, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
We expect
- Valid truck driver's license (category C).
- Practical experience from operations, contracting, transport, or emergency response is an advantage.
- Good physical condition, reliability, and ability to work independently and act calmly in pressured situations.
- Responsibility and willingness to engage in both operations, emergency response, exercises, and necessary competence development.
