The daycare institution Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat in Uummannaq Avannaata Municipality is looking for 3 social workers for employment as soon as possible 01.09.2026 or by further agreement.
The immediate supervisor of the social workers is the daycare institution leader at Meeqqerivik Ikinnguteeqqat
Work and responsibilities:
• Work in accordance with the institution's rules and objectives.
• To take care of the children in a safe and responsible manner.
• Collaboration between different teams and departments.
• Collaboration with parents.
• Miscellaneous work and prioritization regarding tasks.

• Humble and stable.
• Physically and mentally healthy as well as outgoing and cheerful.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and SIK at the time of commencement.
No housing is provided for the position.
Employment is subject to satisfactory child certificate and public criminal record, these are obtained by the employer from the National Police with the applicant's consent.
