Forskole Børnehave Angaju:

•                   1 Deputy Manager

There is room for 40 children aged 4 to 6 years, divided into three rooms.

Responsibilities and areas of work:

You will be co-responsible for following Inatsisartutlov no. 62 of November 20, 2023, regarding pedagogical development offers for preschool children, as well as working based on Qeqqata Kommunia's political visions, children and youth policies, and pedagogical objectives, which are detailed on the Qeqqata Kommunia website.

Qualifications:

•  You are educated as a pedagogue or similar
•  You can collaborate closely with the leader

•  You are clear and can set boundaries when necessary
•  You are attentive to the environment in the house
•  You have knowledge of The Good Daycare Institution
•  You can have conversations with parents about children's development

•  You are stable/engaged in your work
•  You can work responsibly
•  You are positive/fresh and welcoming
• You can speak Greenlandic and Danish
•  You have knowledge of IT/computer operations

•  You are attentive to children with special needs
•  You have experience working with children
•  You find collaboration important and are cooperative
•  You are open to new initiatives, welcoming

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat (NPK) or another relevant negotiating organization.

Employment: September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
