The intern will gain experience from three editorial departments: news, culture, and politics. Sermitsiaq.AG is looking for an ambitious and curious journalism intern who wants to help shape the news flow in a society where the stories are close, significant, and often global.
As an intern with us, you will have a unique experience where you will get to know the entire organization and gain solid experience from three different editorial teams:
🔹 News editorial team (Sermitsiaq.gl)
Here you will learn to work with breaking news, agenda-setting stories, quick research, and digital communication. You will be part of a fast-paced environment and learn to navigate in a newsroom where every day is different.
🔹 Culture Editorial (AG)
At AG, you work with the stories that connect closely with people, culture, and life across the country. Here, you have time for in-depth exploration, reports, and portraits – and you learn to find the stories that unite Greenland.
🔹 Political and societal editorial team (Sermitsiaq)
Here you follow political decisions, societal developments, and the big picture in Greenland. You learn to cover everything from business to elections, reforms, and international relations. You gain experience with background articles, analyses, and high-level interviews.

Currently pursuing a journalism degree and seeking an internship (or equivalent documented experience)

Is curious, critical, and eager to work in a small, ambitious media house.

Have the courage to live and work in Nuuk for the entire internship period.
