Hall Inspector

The board of Qaqortup Timersortarfia is seeking a versatile and dedicated facility manager for employment as soon as possible.

Qaqortup Timersortarfia is an independent institution. On a daily basis, there are two permanent employees: a hall manager and a hall assistant.

We expect that you:

• Has knowledge of accounting and can keep accounts.
• Can maintain an overview and handle many tasks at once.
• Has a valid driver's license (minimum category B)
• I enjoy working with and interacting with people of all ages.
• Has experience with association work.
• Is initiative-taking, responsible, and independent.
• Has leadership experience.
• Ensures that the hall always appears clean and inviting.
• Has experience in planning and executing tournaments as well as other events and projects.
• Has knowledge of the operation of fitness rooms.
• Has experience with operating a kiosk, including inventory ordering and purchasing.

• An exciting and versatile workplace with daily contact with many people, including children and young people.
• A close collaboration with the municipality, schools, sports clubs, and other halls.
• A 40-hour work week with great freedom to plan your own working hours.
• Participation in and responsibility for the execution of events.
• Management responsibility for up to 10 young employees aged 15-18 years.
• Responsibility for the daily operation of the gym.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Greenland Self-Government and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment is subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing

Unfortunately, no staff accommodation can be provided.

Criminal and child certificate

The position is subject to the rules regarding the collection of criminal records and child certificates. Employment can only take place once the board has received a satisfactory criminal record and child certificate from the police.
