Greenland Police is seeking 3 TNI administration trainees for departments in Nuuk. The trainees will receive a diverse and developing educational program with insight into the police's tasks and administrative functions. The position is open to trainees enrolled in the TNI program specializing in administration. Start date is ongoing.

The position can be applied for by students who are enrolled in the TNI program with a specialization in administration.

About the departments:
As a TNI administrative trainee, you can look forward to a structured trainee program with specific tasks and responsibilities within your area.
Please indicate in your application which department or departments you are interested in. You will be assigned to one of the relevant departments, where you will gain practical experience and insight into the daily tasks.
Logistics:

Coordination of transport and logistics tasks
-
Planning and follow-up on shipments
-
Registration and updating in IT systems
-
Collaboration with internal and external partners
-
Preparation of overviews and status on deliveries
-
Administrative support for daily operational tasks
-
Contribute to analyses of the crime picture through data collection and structuring.

Data management and follow-up
-
Preparation of notes and management information
-
Administrative support for quality assurance of criminal case processing
-
Follow-up on results and internal processes
-
Support for project management and development tasks
-
Citizen service and guidance (in person, by phone, and in writing)
-
Reception and registration of reviews
-
Issuance of passports and driving licenses

Vehicle registration
-
Journaling and archiving of cases
-
Handling of lost property
You will work together with colleagues from different professional backgrounds – including both uniformed and civilian staff.
Your work effort will be an important part of supporting the core tasks of the police.
We ensure a well-structured student program that provides the framework for an educational and solid training.
You will be assigned a student advisor who will support and guide you throughout the entire process, both in relation to your work tasks and your professional development.
We are looking for you who:

Admitted to the TNI Administration Program

Has relevant experience in one or more areas – this is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Takes responsibility for your own professional development and learning.

Is committed, structured, and works purposefully with your tasks.

Has good communication skills, both written and oral. It is an advantage if you are bilingual (Danish/Greenlandic).

Can work both independently and in interdisciplinary contexts

Employment and terms:
Remuneration is in accordance with the applicable agreement between Naalakkersuisut, the Employee and Competence Agency, and the Union of Apprentices and Students.
The working hours are 40 hours a week.
The employment period is during the training period.
You will be employed in Nuuk, but since we service the entire police district in Greenland, travel activity may occur.
Security clearance:
It is a prerequisite that you can be security cleared at the necessary level for the position. You may be required to perform functions where a higher security clearance is necessary. Employment in the police and in the prosecution authority is conditional upon your ability to maintain the required security clearance at all times.
Greenland's police have implemented smoke- and nicotine-free working hours.
