Nutrition Assistant

SEARCH THIS POSITION Are you a nutrition assistant with an interest in nutritious food and open-faced sandwiches? – Then you might be just the person we are looking for to join our team in the kitchen at Sana!

We are looking for a nutrition assistant for a permanent position of 40 hours per week. There will be weekend work every other weekend. Working hours are between 07:00 - 15:00, as well as an opening shift from 06:30-14:30 about 3 times a month.

There will be work on a certain number of holidays.

We expect you to have a 3-month trial period starting from July 1, 2026.

We are a well-oiled large kitchen that serves up to 200 patients at Dr. Ingrid's Hospital. We are a workplace that is constantly evolving, and therefore we need an additional skilled nutrition assistant.

• Is punctual and physically robust
• Has in-depth knowledge of self-control and can use a computer.
• Has knowledge of different diets
• Has knowledge of dysphagia and diets
• Can work independently, but also engage in positive collaboration with colleagues.
• Is quality-conscious about the execution of your tasks.

• The kitchen at Queen Ingrid's Hospital prepares daily meals for about 200 patients. Hot food is served for lunch and open-faced sandwiches for dinner.
• We strive to ensure that our food reflects a seasonally focused approach to ingredients, so our daily menu includes Greenlandic provisions.
• We believe that nutrition is an important part of an admission process, and therefore we place great emphasis on seasoning our food so that patients have a pleasant taste experience.

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses upon joining and leaving, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
