The Department for Children, Youth, Justice, and Equality is seeking a Senior Consultant to develop and lead projects, strategies, and analyses. The position involves cross-functional tasks and close collaboration with political levels. We offer a dynamic work environment focused on professional and personal development as well as work-life balance.
SEARCH THIS POSITION Are you passionate about improving the conditions for children and young people, and do you want to work closely with the political decision-making process? Then we have an exciting position for you.
In the Department of Children, Youth, Justice, and Gender Equality, we work to realize political goals within the social sector in Greenland. Our tasks are diverse, and as an AC officer, you will, among other things, develop and lead projects, strategies, initiatives, and analyses, as well as handle cross-cutting tasks within the department's area of responsibility. You will also serve the political level by preparing proposals for the Naalakkersuisut, notes regarding issues, and responses to §37 questions.
The department is organized into two divisions: the Management Secretariat and the Department for Cross-Sectional Projects and Monitoring. In the department, we value a work culture where everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the development and innovation of the organization. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are a collaborative and ambitious person who approaches your colleagues with openness and interest. In return, you will be surrounded by engaged and ambitious colleagues who support and respect each other.
Your job
You will be part of the Department for Cross-Sectional Projects and Monitoring, which consists of six employees with diverse expertise. The department works across the entire area of responsibility of the ministry and plays a central role in ensuring that political decisions are translated into concrete actions and results. We often collaborate across departments in the Naalakkersuisut and have projects in cooperation with the country's municipalities. Here, you will have your own tasks and have a significant influence from the start. The work is varied and requires collaboration across departments, professional boundaries, and cultures, as well as the ability to take independent responsibility for your own areas of work.
