Sulisitsisut – Greenland Business is seeking two experienced lawyers to strengthen the business sector in Greenland. You will work with legal advice, training, and secretarial support, focusing on the construction sector, employment law, and sustainability. The position is in Nuuk and offers a versatile role close to decision-making processes.

Sulisitsisut – Greenland's Business (GE) is therefore looking for two experienced and dedicated lawyers who enjoy working closely with the central actors in the business community and contributing to the development of a strong and competitive society.
About the positions
As a lawyer at GE, you will have a broad and versatile role, where you will work with legal advice, teaching, and secretarial support. Your primary tasks will include:
Legal advice for GE's members in particular:

Legislation and paradigms in the construction and engineering sector

Employment law and labor relations
-
Sustainability and ESG
Contributions to consultation responses, analyses, notes, and political proposals in relevant areas.
Collaboration across GE's member companies, industry committees, local associations, and external partners
Participation in interdisciplinary projects
Advocacy and meetings with decision-makers
Teaching in GE's own courses and continuing education programs
Take a seat in councils, committees, and boards on behalf of GE
Your profile
We are looking for two lawyers who:

Has a legal master's degree (cand.jur. or equivalent)

Very much has experience with legislation in the construction industry, including procurement, contract law, or relevant authority processes.

Very much would like to have experience working with sustainability.

Has insight into employment law and possibly experience in advising companies.

Is able to communicate legal material clearly – both in writing and orally.

Thrives in the role of teacher and communicator

Can work independently, in a structured manner, and in close collaboration with companies and colleagues.

Proficient in Danish and English, and preferably Greenlandic.
