The employer control handles control tasks regarding Greenlandic and foreign employers, including

Control of business activities in order to assess tax liability for the company and employees in Greenland.

Control of employers regarding reporting, withholding, and payment of A-taxes, etc.

Guidance for employers.
Due to the nature of the inspections, there will be a number of outgoing visits, including travel activities in Greenland.
The control work takes place both in the office and at companies or, for example, on construction sites, during mining activities, etc.
The control will also involve activities in the form of decisions and case presentations, which is why it is important that you can work independently and have good communication skills in writing and speaking.
Qualifications and competence:

Professional bachelor's degree, HD, or master's degree in economics, accounting, auditing, law, or similar education.

You are good at using the Microsoft suite and quick to familiarize yourself with new systems.

You can work independently, with commitment, and are responsible.

You have good language skills including English.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
