About the position
The workshop in Nuuk plays a central role in Royal Arctic Line's daily operations. The department consists of mechanics, blacksmiths, and apprentices who together ensure that the company's equipment is maintained, serviced, and repaired in accordance with applicable regulations and many years of accumulated experience.
As a mechanic, you become part of a strong professional team that works with both planned maintenance and urgent repairs. The job also includes checking equipment in South and East Greenland, and there may be service tasks on the shipping company's equipment in other parts of the country.
The workshop provides support to a wide range of internal departments as well as external customers, and therefore collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers are important prerequisites for success in the position.
Your tasks

Service and maintenance of rolling stock.

Service and inspection of lifting equipment.

Troubleshooting and repair of rolling stock.

Visual inspections and condition assessments of the shipping company's equipment.

Technical support to other departments in Royal Arctic Line, including: Claims
