Logistics Coordinator

KNI A/S's energy division Polaroil is seeking a logistics coordinator for the Service Center in Sisimiut to start as soon as possible or by agreement.

We are looking for someone who is skilled in logistics, good at collaborating, and who wants to be part of an important societal task in Greenland. In this role, you will be a key player in our work with the supply and distribution of liquid fuels throughout the country.

You will report to the logistics manager.

Your work tasks and areas of responsibility will include:

Contact and coordination with import tankers, coastal tankers, shipping companies, and refineries.

Collaboration with internal and external customers

Contact and collaboration regarding sales to international intermediaries

Ongoing updates and control of inventory in cities and towns

Monitoring of weather forecasts and ice situations, as well as changes in consumption patterns

Participation in ISPS work (International Ship and Port Facility Security)

Operation and updating of the KNI Energy Division's website

Develop distribution and import plans for liquid fuels together with the logistics manager.

Evaluate distribution solutions and associated costs

Ensure quality in the products we import in bulk, particularly requirements for aviation fuel.

Collaboration with the team on fuel sales

Ad hoc tasks within logistics and supply.

In addition, we expect that you:

Has thorough knowledge of Greenland and the country's infrastructure.

Proficient in English, Greenlandic, and Danish.

Has a relevant education and/or experience in logistics.

Is structured, good at coordinating, and used to working with multiple stakeholders.
