A person is sought who has the will and desire to work in an exciting and very varied environment. As a starting point, applicants with administrative experience from the public sector are sought in a broad sense. We prefer that you have an academic education, but it is not crucial if you have relevant work experience.
Your work tasks:

Assistance with the organization and execution of the chairman's tasks during the meetings

Manage the calendar function for the chairman with appointments both internally and externally.

Organization and participation in the meetings and travels of the parliamentary chairman

Assist in responding to verbal and written inquiries.

Assistance with the planning and execution of meetings in the Presidency

Minutes from the chairmanship meetings

Preparations for the awarding of merit medals

Preparation of the chairman's representative tasks

The position involves extensive contact with many people, and as the secretary for the chairman, emphasis will be placed on your:

We expect that you are also able to collaborate with all departments in the Bureau of Inatsisartut. Therefore, it is necessary that you are capable of overseeing both professional and political issues. In addition to a relevant education and work experience, emphasis will be placed on a thorough knowledge of our country and our societal conditions, including the political system. It will also be a significant advantage if you have competencies in English. In this position, you will report to the deputy director.
Salary and employment conditions
There is a 40-hour workweek. Salary and employment conditions will follow the relevant collective agreement with the associated ministerial secretary allowance. Housing can be provided for the position, for which payment will be made according to applicable rules. However, due to the housing situation in Nuuk, a period of accommodation in temporary housing should be expected before permanent housing can be arranged. There is a right to relocation travel and moving of personal belongings in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreements.
