Technician for the Workshop in Customer Technology

Tusass is looking for an independent, responsible, and technically skilled technician for the workshop in the Customer Technical department in Nuuk.

Customer Technology consists of six technicians and one department manager, who reports to the head of Operations.

The department is part of the Operate function within the company's technical division and deals with preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of transmission equipment – including broadcast equipment and VHF radios – at local telephone stations as well as in towns and villages across the country.

Tusass follows the constant development where the demands for telecommunications are becoming increasingly greater. The T&I division has developed an ambitious and targeted strategy that includes several project initiatives to meet these demands.

About the position

As our new colleague, you will have ample opportunity to develop your technical skills through work with, among other things, radio broadcasting, DVB-T transmitters, HF and VHF communication equipment for coastal and aviation radio, as well as technical support for Naviair.

The position involves travel activity – primarily by helicopter, charter ship, regular plane, or vessel.

You will also participate in project work related to construction projects in the area.

Your profile

You have at least a professional background as an electronics technician, electronics technologist, or equivalent.

Experience from similar positions or tasks within telecommunications is an advantage.

• Greenlandic, Danish, and English in writing and speech
• present a clean criminal record
