This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate. The child certificate will be part of the municipality's assessment of who should be hired for the position.

The immediate superior of the chief school inspector is the head of schools in the DUAK Municipality of Kujalleq, located in the municipality's administration in Qaqortoq.
Salary and employment conditions:
The employment relationship is governed by the Main Agreement of October 28, 1998, between the Greenlandic Government and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK, and the Collective Agreement of June 28, 2019, between the Government of Greenland and IMAK, for teachers in the public school system in Greenland, among others.
Housing: A housing unit will be made available, and payment will be made according to applicable regulations. However, there may be a waiting period for the housing. In case of a waiting period, the municipality will provide temporary accommodation, for which taxes will be paid according to applicable regulations.
