Electrical Project Manager sought for Nuuk, Greenland

We are looking for an engaged and competent Electrical Project Manager for an exciting position in Nuuk, Greenland. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical projects from the initial planning to the final delivery.

You will be an important part of the company's project organization, where you will ensure progress, quality, and finances, as well as coordinate employees, subcontractors, and other partners.

Your tasks

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will have a varied everyday life with both technical, financial, and managerial tasks.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Planning, coordinating, and leading electrical projects from startup to delivery.
• Ensuring that the projects are completed within the subsequent timeframes, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Preparing calculations, following up on project finances, and ensuring effective resource utilization.
• Leading and coordinating up to 15 employees.
• Coordinating collaboration with subcontractors and other partners.
• Ensuring good communication and effective collaboration between the project's involved parties.
• Following up on project progress, quality, work environment, and technical solutions.
• Identifying challenges and contributing to finding practical and financially sustainable solutions.

There may occasionally be minor travel activity in connection with tasks in other cities in Greenland.

Your profile

We envision that you have a relevant electrical technical background and experience in project management within electrical installations or electrical contracts.

We prefer that you are educated as an electrical installer, electrical engineer, or marine engineer. If you have another relevant background, such as an electrician combined with solid and documented experience in project management, you will also be considered.

The most important thing is that you have the necessary professional insight and ability to drive projects safely, efficiently, and financially responsibly.

We particularly emphasize that you have:

• A relevant electrical technical education or solid practical experience in the electrical field.
• Documented experience in managing electrical projects or electrical contracts.
• Experience with project finances, budgets, calculations, and financial follow-up.
• Experience with personnel management and coordination of employees.
• The ability to plan, prioritize, and maintain an overview in a busy everyday life.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• A driver's license for passenger cars.
