Integrated Daycare Institution Maligiaq is looking for a skilled and committed nutrition assistant for maternity cover, who can start working possibly by agreement.

Maligiaq has a total of 96 children, aged 0-6 years. Distributed to 6 rooms, where they have 12 children in each room in the nursery and 20 children in each room in the kindergarten.

Opening hours in Maligiaq from Monday to Friday: 7.00-17.00.

Room staff consists of: educator, social workers, assistants, Other staff: Leader, nutrition assistant and an assistant.

Job content:

We are looking for a – preferably experienced – nutrition assistant to join and take on a number of tasks including:

·Can take responsibility and work independently and that you are responsible, you can take into account the allergic children

·Close collaboration with parents & staff

·Work according to the Institution's food policy

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the person concerned, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the person concerned from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

There will be staff housing available for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the rules for rent payment in the Government of Greenland and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacation housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above. The start date depends on when a staff housing is available. A relocation allowance and moving expenses will be provided according to applicable rules.
