Inst. Mikisoq is looking for a pedagogue or similar education

There is space for 24 children between 0 – 2 years and 20 children between 3 – 6 in the integrated daycare institution Mikisoq

There are 13 employees distributed as follows: leader, deputy leader, two pedagogues, three social assistants, three helpers, kitchen worker, cleaning assistant, and a floater.

The opening hours for the integrated daycare institution are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Which is also located in the middle of the town of Tasiilaq.

The daycare department offers courses tailored to institutions and leaders.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received a child certificate from the national police as well as a criminal certificate from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

There will be the possibility of assigning staff housing for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the properties of the Government of Greenland and the municipality in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above. The start date depends on when there is staff housing available. A relocation travel and moving of belongings will be provided according to applicable rules.
