Health Care Assistant sought for the health care service in Aasiaat

Do you have strong communication skills, especially in Greenlandic? Are you passionate about making a health educational and preventive effort? Are you good at creating structure around your work? Maybe you are the one who is our new assistant for the health care service in Aasiaat.

You will have a permanent workplace at Aasiaat Regional Hospital with responsibilities throughout the region. Your daily routine will consist of home visits, consultations, events, and courses for parents, as well as other health preventive initiatives.

You will be part of a team with our current health care assistant.

We are looking for you who:

• Is a trained health professional helper or assistant, preferably a health care assistant.
• Is good at creating structure and has clear communication skills
• Has good abilities to talk with other people and is passionate about preventive efforts.

• The health care service makes health preventive efforts both in Aasiaat and in the region's smaller towns and settlements
• You will become part of the health care service in Aasiaat's development towards more closeness and contact, with a strengthening of "early intervention"

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic health care system at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
