Are you passionate about helping people get back on their feet and assisting them with their financial situation – then you could be the employee we are looking for.

We work closely with, among others, the municipalities and the Self-Government to reduce the number of residents and families who are at risk of eviction from their homes. This is intended as an advisory effort aimed at residents who are at risk of being threatened with eviction, as well as residents in a particularly vulnerable financial situation.

You will report to the debt manager, but will also need to have a very close collaboration with the financial advisors on the coast, our Team Leader, and the collections department in Sisimiut.

Financial advice at eye level with tenants

Your primary tasks will be individual and concrete financial advice to struggling families, focusing on creating financial overview for each resident, including among other things:

•Advising and guiding on options and rights

•Creating an overview of finances and debts

•Budgeting in collaboration with families

•Contact with relevant authorities and creditors

•Ongoing meetings and reporting to the steering group for the project

•Ensuring progress and results in the areas of intervention

•Back-up for other financial advisors

•Ad hoc tasks

Dynamic and motivated to make a difference and change the status quo

You have an administrative background with finance and budgeting, and it can be an advantage to have social knowledge as well. It is crucial that you are passionate about customer contact and advice. You are patient and have human insight, as you will be dealing with people who typically have challenges beyond just financial problems. With your strong communication skills, you manage to converse at eye level with respect and understanding for each individual customer. You also have knowledge of basic legislation and you are bilingual.

Employment conditions:

Salary and employment are based on your qualifications. You are entitled to a free relocation travel and moving of belongings. Housing can be provided for the position according to applicable rules.

Start date:

Possibility of employment on December 1, 2026, or January 1, 2027, or according to further agreement.
